With proximity to the United States Congress, the White House, and many major medical professional organizations, the program provides an unique opportunity to witness the democratic process and observe its effect on healthcare policies and delivery in the United States.
Message from Director

Thank you for your interest in The George Washington University PA Program. My name is Brandon Beattie, and I have the privilege of serving as Program Director.
Located in the heart of our nation's capital, our program offers unparalleled access to policymakers, world-class healthcare institutions, and diverse patient populations. As one of the oldest PA programs in the country, we have been educating exceptional PAs to work as clinicians, researchers, educators, and patient advocates for over 50 years!
Our highly accomplished faculty bring a wealth of expertise, with careers spanning clinical care, policy, and research. Many hold national and international leadership positions, directly shaping the future of healthcare and PA education. Collectively, they represent more than a century of teaching experience and a shared commitment to preparing the next generation of PAs.
Whether you are a prospective student exploring your educational path, an alumnus reconnecting with us, or a colleague in PA education, we invite you to discover what makes our program unique. On behalf of our exceptionally talented faculty and staff, we look forward to welcoming you to The GWU PA community.
